Retises CT

The treatment with high concentration of pure retinol and vitamin C in its most stable form of ascorbyl glucoside. Retinol, by regulating hyperactivity of stimulated melanocytes, has a depigmentation effect on discolourations. Additionally, by normalizing the keratinization process it exfoliates and unblocks skin thanks to which it works perfectly as a complementary treatment in acne therapy for adults and teenagers. What is more, after the treatment, through the increase of proliferation of keratinocytes and fibroblasts, regeneration processes are stimulated within deep layers of skin. Skin regains healthy, radiant look; it is visibly smoothed, moisturized and nourished. In order to achieve better effects it is recommended to undergo the therapy in a series of 3-6 treatments every 3-4 weeks.

Indications:

  • post-inflammatory discolourations
  • hormonal discolourations – melasma
  • surface wrinkles
  • grey and matt skin lacking brightness
  • acne problems

Contraindications:

  • pregnancy and lactation
  • skin allergies, allergy to vitamin C
  • active herpes
  • a week preceding the scrub do not use any preparations which can irritate skin
  • men should not shave an hour before the scrub

The process of treatment:

A preparation of vitamin C is applied on a face washed earlier, and then a yellow mask containing retinol is applied as well. The mask undergoes partial absorption after circa 30-40 minutes and a patient can leave the clinic.

Post treatment indications:

Retises CT preparation is to remain on skin for 10-12 hours. If the treatment was performed in the evening, the face should be washed in the morning. During that time the preparation works on the skin all the time and what is connected to that, it is not recommended to put any make-up. For circa 24 hours following the treatment the skin is tense and irritated. After 24-48 hours the process of skin desquamation begins and lasts for 3-7 days. Desquamation on a décolleté and other body parts begins later and is not so rapid. In order to minimize discomfort it is recommended to use preparations with soothing and oiling properties. They can be applied as often as needed.

Additionally, after the treatment you must:

  • avoid sauna and solarium for a fortnight
  • avoid sun exposure for a fortnight
  • use sun protection – a cream with +50 sunscreen for minimum a fortnight

Convalescence time:

Within 2-3 days following the treatment less or more intensified lobate desquamation lasting 3-7 days may appear.
