Ellanse

Ellansé™ is a new product of a biostimulation kind i.e. substances which stimulate the synthesis of our own collagen. The preparation includes Poly-Caprolactone, which for many years has been used in numerous medical products. The safety of Ellanse is credited to its complete biodegradability which leads to lack of allergic reactions and granuloma. Ellanse is not only a filling treatment but also strongly rejuvenating, bringing back density and natural firmness of skin.

Indications:

  • deepened marionette lines
  • deepened nasolabial folds
  • horizontal and vertical forehead lines
  • radial wrinkles around lips (smoker’s lines)
  • drooping lip corners
  • crow’s feet
  • minor atrophic scars (incl. post-acne changes)
  • lips enlarging and modelling
  • chin enlarging and modelling
  • enhancing face oval
  • loss of skin firmness

Contraindications:

  • pregnancy and lactation
  • active autoimmune diseases
  • active viral infections (f.ex. herpes) and bacterial ones in the area subjected to treatment
  • uncontrolled diabetes
  • cancer in reconnaissance
  • taking blood dilution medicine, f.ex. aspirin – relative contraindication
  • former treatments with the usage of permanent fillers (f.ex. Aquamid)

Process of treatment:

Directly after administration of the preparation with the usage of a needle or a cannula, you get a filling effect. After a month a partial decline of the achieved volume is observed, which is caused by degradation of carboxycelullose solution (used as a fomite of Poly-Caprolactone) present in the preparation. During consecutive months gradual synthesis of collagen takes place, which results not only in your face’s getting back the lost volume but also enhancement of skin quality.

Post treatment indications:

  • do not massage or press the places of injection without clear doctor’s indications
  • avoid sauna and solarium for a fortnight
  • avoid sun exposure for a fortnight
  • use sun protection – a cream with +50 sunscreen for a fortnight

Convalescence time:

Generally, you can perform regular daily activities immediately after the treatment. In cases of some patients there may appear local redness, swelling or a bruise (in case of a blood vessel damage)
