Lipofiling PURE GRAFT

A correction method of volume loss through autologous fat rich in stem cells.

With age, in case of some patients appears a local phthisis of adipose tissue, so called lipodystrophy. The result of that is volume loss, most often in a form of flabby skin. An ideal solution seems to be lipofilling – that is filling the missing volume with the usage of our own fat. Additionally, adipose tissue is a perfect source of rejuvenating mesenchymal stem cells MSC – that is structures capable of endless dividing and diversifying into specialised cells. These cells, by releasing growth factors and cytokines, stimulate reconstructive processes of tissues and their natural rejuvenation. The result of the treatment is a natural effect of filling. Another advantage of lipofilling is the fact that we have at our disposal unlimited quantity of filling material i.e. our own fat. What is more, the implemented material comes from a patient what enables the elimination of allergy risk.

Indications:

Face:

  • loss of adipose tissue in the face area, shaping inter alia cheeks, chin and a temple area
  • loss of skin elasticity
  • furrows and wrinkles
  • sagging cheeks
  • under eye circles
  • the valley of tears

Body:

  • loss of bust firmness as a result of body weight loss, aging or breast feeding
  • loss of firmness and revitalization of hands’ skin
  • willingness to improve the shape of buttocks
  • filling the loss of tissue after various accidents, operative procedures
  • loss of firmness in sexual organs areas

Contraindications:

  • pregnancy and lactation
  • improper blood clotting agent
  • taking blood thinning medications (e.g. aspirin, acenocoumarol)
  • thrombosis in reconnaissance
  • active viral infections (e.g. herpes) and bacterial ones in the area subjected to treatment
  • allergy to anaesthetic

The process of treatment:

Lipofilling is based on taking adipose tissue from areas of its excess. Basically, these are thighs, knees or stomach. Fat is taken with the usage of blunt cannulas after earlier anaesthesia of areas subjected to the treatment. Next, it is passed through special atomizing sacks. The advantage of such a method is the absence of contact of taken material with air and very delicate atomizing of fat ensuring much longer survival of adipose tissue, and what is connected to it, a longer lasting effect of the treatment. It shall be remembered that adipose tissue is very sensitive to any kind of injuries. As a result of this process we get material rich in adipose tissue and invaluable stem cells evenly located in areas subjected to the treatment.

Post treatment indications:

  • avoid manual effort for 7 days
  • avoid exposure of the treated area to pressure and gravity load (e.g. do not sleep on the treated area)
  • avoid high temperatures: sauna and solarium, hot baths for a fortnight
  • avoid sun exposure for a fortnight
  • use sun protection – a cream with +50 sunscreen for a fortnight

Convalescence time:

It is a treatment after which one can normally return to daily tasks. In some cases there may appear bruises and swelling in the areas of implanting and taking adipose tissue.

The effect of the treatment:

The filling effect is immediate and the effect of skin rejuvenation becomes visible steadily within three months. 70-80% of implanted adipose tissue volume persist in the area of administering. As a result of the treatment the volume is restored and skin firmness is improved.

The persistence of the treatment effect:

The persistence of the effects depends on quantity of injected adipose tissue and on individual patient’s features and generally lasts a few years.
