Injection lipolysis is a kind of nonsurgical liposuction. It is connected with using a phosphatidylcholine preparation (a natural ingredient made of soya seeds) in the areas of treated adipose tissues. The preparation containing sodium deoxycholate leads to destruction of adipose tissue cell membrane.
The preparation is injected into the adipose tissue of the area subjected to the treatment by many punctures with the use of a thin needle or by single punctures, so called fan technique, with the use of a long needle.
In order to achieve even effects, it is recommended to massage treated areas for a few minutes a few times daily.
Additionally, it is recommended to:
Immediately after application of phosphatidylcholine there may appear: redness, local swelling of skin, feeling of warmth, pain, itching and a bruise in a place of possible damage of blood vessels. Intensified pain discomfort lessens within 15-30 minutes after the treatment, swelling can remain up to 7 days. The discomfort can be relieved by antihistamine medicine or painkillers; however, it is worth remembering that the bigger inflammatory condition, the better the effect. Additionally, the area remains more sensitive to touch or pressure, especially during a massage, for a few weeks. Furthermore, there may persist protrusions in the area subjected to injections for 2-4 weeks.
In case of using Celluform plus preparation, the swelling generally disappears after 2-3 days.
