  • unaesthetic scars

Contraindications:

  • active viral infections (e.g. herpes) and bacterial ones in the area subjected to treatment

  • in case of taking blood thinning medications ( Polocard, Acenocumarol), it is recommended, if only possible, to phase them out for 5-7 days

The process of treatment:

A surgical treatment of a scar removal is performed in topical anaesthesia. A scar present earlier is cut out with a small piece of healthy skin with the use of a scalpel and then stiches and dressing are put.

Convalescence time: 7-10 days
Time: 20-30 minutes

Anaesthesia:  yes (local e.g. lignocaine)

Post treatment indications:

Until stiches are removed, it is necessary not to take baths but shower only. After taking a shower the wound must be dried, disinfected with Octanisept and then a dressing must be put. Additionally, in order to make the wound heal better, it is recommended not to make any sudden movements, especially stretching. It is best to resign from any physical exercises in the post treatment period. If necessary, the patient shall come for a visit to remove stiches in the time stated by a doctor.
